Steyn, 37, hasn't played a test in 5 years. Crazy.

Yeah but how hard is it? Kick the goals, then go stand in the back field and wait for the inevitable bomb, which your wingers or fullback will defuse, for you to clear. The Boks played 4 in the back field for the majority of the game.

It pretty much illustrates where the boks are: try not to lose.

They've added a huge dose of siege mentality with a massive victim complex crossover, this series. They are performing a good job of self-isolation in a way that apartheid can't quite match.

They'll get short shrift when they go up north... IF they ever go up north again.

Will they turn up for TRC?

That was his back remember? O'Keeffe and Jonker both confirmed it

Hope so, glad to hear that things are getting better there. I'm sure it's a logistical nightmare to organise with all the different restrictions and quarantine rules and bubbles, but they should find a way.

@mikethesnow thanks Snowy. Hard luck to you lot. Everything was tough out there. Kolisi had his best tests. Crazy that Morne did it all over again like 12 years ago.

Kolbe is small but his rugby heart is bigger then Itoje.

Well done the Boks and enjoy the series win all you Saffer ferners.

Hats off to Finn Russell who played well and kept his flaky side firmly in the cupboard. Much will likely be made of the difference he brought to the Lions play but I feel that would be missing the point. Until he came on I counted the number of times the ball went past the first receiver and from memory it was once. Just once. That is not down to Biggar being unable to execute that sort of game, he’s shown time and time again he can. So clearly this continued one out drive followed by the inevitable kick was the game plan. Many will look at individual selection being the cause of both the style of play and the loss but the more expansive play with Russell was with the same guys that Biggar had round him. In truth the Lions, any of them, had the ability to play that game but were instructed otherwise.

Gatland and co were too conservative and inflexible. SA outcoached us as much as anything.

                        Just watched the first half.

How is bok 8 not sitting down for 10 minutes? Charging into a breakdown, no bind, shoulder first, to a player on the ground.

If it's the same incident, the Ref & TMO looked at it and decided he was going under the Lions player to help clear the ruck.

Considerig the off-the-field bollocks, I thought the Refs did a pretty good job overall and Jonker was fine as TMO.

I'm in a minority, but I enjoyed that game and the series. The rugby never reached great heights, but it was meaningful competition, and games we don't see often. I was happy with it.

Astonished teh try to Kolbe got awarded though - looked a clear knockon by the Bokke. Still, those 50/50 have defined the series - and arguably Boks were better all the way through.

Australia in 4 yers will be interesting. Hopefully travelling supporters at last!

It was series of two halves for me. The 1st Test and the 1st half of the 2nd were a bit ugh, but from that point on it seemed to come alive. There were some moments of really good rugby in the last game.

We weren’t allowed to ask her to dance because it was Munter Martin’s chance to be normal

                                  And he fucking blew it

But coach was happy because Martin tried with coach’s game plan

                                    Just watched the first half.

How is bok 8 not sitting down for 10 minutes? Charging into a breakdown, no bind, shoulder first, to a player on the ground.

If it's the same incident, the Ref & TMO looked at it and decided he was going under the Lions player to help clear the ruck.

Considerig the off-the-field bollocks, I thought the Refs did a pretty good job overall and Jonker was fine as TMO.

Yeah they did. No idea how they reached that conclusion though. I'm not an expert on the rules, but he clearly smashed into Jones' back at speed, undoubtedly dangerous and surely not legal.

Jonker did fine considering. Not impressed with the refs on the whole, but they did have a tough job to do.

Can't make out if that is a parody site or if it simply has a problem with Sth African rugby. Headline after headline about how evil the Boks are and why the result of the Lions tour should be overturned in the LIons favour.

There are a few sites that pop up on my fb feed and this is one of them. Without exception they are a pile of shite. Jingoistic, one eyed, myopic, biased with click bait headlines that usually bear little resemblance to the pathetic article.

Not a parody unfortunately, but you are excused for asking same!
