Hearing a Cranberries song always reminds me when a mate of mine and myself went and saw them live here in NZ back in the 90s, would have been when Zombie was a big song. That and Dreams were the only songs I knew.. pretty sure 95% of the audience including us went to hear Zombie… fuckers played it last!
A band plays their biggest hit last and you’re surprised ? How many concerts have you ever been to ?
It also reminds me of seeing posters of the Proclaimers when they did a vineyard tour a couple of years ago….I spoke to staff and apparently the concert was well over two hours…..so basically that woulda been two hours of shite, only to have an encore or two before they played “500 miles” which is one of those songs that while everyone knows all the words and will belt it out while pissed is actually a fucken terrible song.

i went to one of those shows that are all about memories the other year, and the last act was one John Farnam. That guy was a pro entertainer.
Someone yelled "Sing The Voice!" and he laughed and said "if i do it too early i know you'll all just piss off straight afterwards"

Not a massive fan of his music but he is a very funny, likeable bloke when interviewed on TV ( which he was on constantly when I lived in Sydney it seemed )
