Auckland depth a bit lacking. Sione Tuipulotu should be on the bench.

That Auckland team ran out of ideas and the Ta$man forwards showed up on defense.

Is Pari Pari Parkinson's haircut supposed to look like one of those Australian cork on a string hats for warding off flys?

Well done Ta$man, good win. Stepped up when it mattered - bench was the big difference.

Auckland still a chance in this comp, but will need to build some depth

Tactically fucked after half time. Pathetic passes and poor kicking options, together with Rayasis brain facts.

Think we missed Sullivan at fullback, and Rayasi on the wing.

Like I said Moli has been average.

He'll get better. Has barely played rugby lately.

Agree with Sullivan, Rayasi to be replaced by RTS.

Should've gone for a scrum at the end.

Pretty poor games from Rayasi and Plummer.

Not sure if Gibson was worthy of the Duane Monkley points. It felt like he missed a lot of tackles.

He's lucky he has athleticism because he has no skill.

Quite an entertaining game, despite lots of mistakes.

Both teams defended pretty well and struggled to sustain their attack for the most part. Lots of points left out there.

Almost decided on the bounce of the ball - and there were quite a few bounces that opened doors one way or the other.

Handy points for us though. Two wins against first division opponents - if we don't lose a cross-over game we're well on the way to avoiding relegation, which is always my first target. 🙂

He doesn't seem to be a natural footballer.

I said earlier that Foster should pick him as a project, but I'm going to recant on that.

Gibson didn't miss as any many tackles as I thought. Made 6 and missed 4. I thought he missed more than that, but still not great numbers.

I agree, although I also I think that shows the big difference between being an attacking winger who is serviceable under the high ball, and an outright fullback. He may be the first but he certainly isn’t the second.

He's always been pretty iffy at fullback. Can probably get away with being there against weaker teams, but not against a team like Ta$man.

He has relatively good hands when the ball is coming from above his head, which makes sense given his b-ball history, but yeah Ta$man made him work pretty hard today.

My biggest gripe is that he looks so casual that I cant tell whether that is just what he looks like or that he’s a bit lazy/not really 100% there.
