Did anyone else watch How to sell drugs online (fast) on Netflix? Another German show on Netflix, three seasons.
It's quite a good comedy-drama.

Just started Mother Father Son.
Wasn't really sure of the premise and still not, but stars Richard Gear as a rich media mogul in the UK, who I'm sure we can guess is an evil arsehole. Also has the late Helen McCrory as the ex wife. They have a fucked up son who is running the star paper while his dad is in the US.
Pretty good so far, almost finished ep2.

Does Richard Gere die a horrible, painful, embarrassing death? That might make me watch the last ten minutes.

I'm starting to see the whole series is about his horrible, painful death.

Just a FYI.
I have been on AppleTV+ for a free 12 months after a phone purchase. This is about to run out and I was deciding whether to continue. NZ$8.99 isn't much but when added to Netflix/Neon/Disney I thought something needed to give.
However as I am an Apple user for cloud storage and music I did the 'Apple One' subscription which combines stuff into one bill. Effectively meant that ATV+ costs me only $4.
Seems a good deal to me. -
2 eps into Deceit (Neon in NZ)
Which is based on the true story of a brutal murder on Wimbledon Common in the early 90s, and how a female cop goes undercover to try and get information form the main suspect.
2 eps out of 4, is pretty dark, but a good watch

Very dark. Tries a bit too hard to be 'different' IMO but still watching. Being a true story they obviously couldn't be a whodunnit so it is all about the psychological journey of the undercover cop doing the honeytrap.
I can confirm that the opening scene was actually filmed at the Common. Recognised the spot instantly. Up by the windmill carpark. Exterior shots of Wimbledon Police Station the real thing as well. -

Seems a good deal to me.I planned to can ATV+ at the end of my free 12 months and then alternate it and Amazon every few months. I was too lazy. But I pay for three streamers and have access to six so it's not toon big a deal.

I'll subscribe to AppleTV+ again once the shows I want to watch have been fully released. It looks like they will be available weekly, so that won't be until Nov. The same for Amazon.
Meanwhile, I am busy watching some Netflix series.
Yeah that was my plan, but laziness defeated me.

Excellent
Great to see Brady from Mr Mercedes not being typecast too

@mikethesnow finished this.
Dark, but worth the watch.
I had thought things were going down another path...
:::
I thought Stagg's story about when he was young and killing a girl was true, just in another location, and he had done it with his cousin (who I thought would turn out to be Napper)
I thought that was how he knew how she was laying after she was killed, because Napper killed her, he was therebut didnt do it, and then when Napper killed that other girl and her daughter, it made you think it was Stagg who may have stopped him killing the kid previously.
BUt obviously I over thought it!

I didn't realise that all eps were available. They are still airing in UK and being released weekly on Neon.
Have All4 put the whole series up? Strange when they do that as you get some people watching as a serial and others bingeing. -
@crucial I had sourced all 4 eps before realising it was on Neon...but now you say that, I'm glad I did, it is incredibly frustrating the way they do that, or like release a series in other coutries well after original relase in another...causes people to seek out thiings through other sources

yeah i thought the same thing.. was a bit disappointed it didnt work out that way. On a different note the actor cast as Stagg was a deadringer for the real bloke they showed at the end

@mikethesnow Not typically a fan of reboots, but I do like Don Cheadle's work and that looks pretty good to me.
Besides, I hardly watched the original anyway.

Sure to God they could have called it something else
What’s next?
A reboot of The Six Million Dollar Man, starring 50 cent?

Have watched a few shows over the last few days for some reason……
The Defeated
Pretty decent, set in Berlin right after the war has ended with various underworld plots, etc. A nice mix of espionage and violence. Set up nicely for season 2….
The Flight attendant
Definitely made more watchable by the insanely hot chick from the Big Bang Theory, a bit of a whodunnit, she finds herself in a tough situation and has to cope from there. Only two episodes in, should finish the whole thing in a day or two.
