    runs slow too.

Although I enjoyed it and agree with your score.

Exposition of a redneck broadening his horizons, with a slight twist in the tail of the tale . Nobody lives happily ever after Has Award Nomination written all over it .Particularly for Matt Damon and his MAGA cap

    The Martian.

Was on again last night so turned it on before I went to bed. Next thing you know it's 1:30am and I've watched the whole thing. Absolutely love this film, appeals to my enjoyment of science.

Still think Rich Purnell gets the shaft given that he masterminded the whole rescue. Little credit given.

I enjoyed the film too. Like a stranded on a desert island story. But on Mars....

another who loves it here, on a very short list of movies that made me go and read the book, normally just because so much of the plot is obviously ruined, but i just enjoyed it so much

Me too, other movies I always end up watching if they're on from recent times are Moneyball and The Big Short.

Ha, I got lured into Moneyball again just last week - I think what makes it (and the Martian) so like that, is that you can watch any 30min segment of either and enjoy it - you don't have to commit to the full viewing

I'm yet to see Moneyball, must add to list!

Shawshank is another that I'll watch to the end when I'm channel surfing and stumble across it.

I actually haven't watched Zero Dark 30 in years but I'm sure if it was on I'd sit down and watch it.

I hadn't seen Seagal's Hard to Kill (1990) since I was about 10 years old, and I will forgive young me for not realizing that is was that bad.

Really low production values, terrible fights and stunts, almost no action for an hour, and Seagal looks like shit. He is doing all these punching exercises, and has legit small arms - any random guy who goes to the gym three times a week has way bigger biceps.
