Gotta love Bill Goulds rumbling bass in this……as is the case for so many of their songs it sounds like they’re massively taking the piss out of something too….

I've watched a lot of their live concerts on youtube and they always come across like they are taking the piss.

My tickets for Brixton academy 2020 are now valid for Brixton Academy 2022 .... even with tickets to Pearl Jam & the Foo's next year, this is the one I'm hanging out for the most.

Have you been to Brixton Academy before? Hydrate well beforehand and expect to come home covered in beer. Stupid bars set in the back wall of a packed venue mean groups send one person to the bar and bucket brigade overfilled plastic cups back overhead..
Apart from that it's a good venue close to transport.

Fair to say they killed it at that venue 31 years ago !

Lockdown party last night with the potential future Mrs MN5, some craft brews, some Red Wine and most importantly some fucken YouTube !

Holy shit 90s rock ( as a whole ) was the absolute best. In amongst all the cool bands of that era the two that really stood out last night have singers no longer with us. Take a bow Chris Cornell ( apart from your fucken awful version of Patience ) and Scott Weiland ( apart from wearing a dress on stage ).

You two could belt it out with THE ABSOLUTE best of them. RIP and thanks for the memories.

Just a question - do you guys actually listen to your music on Youtube or just use these posts as suggestions that you listen to from other sources?

Personally I can’t listen to Youtube - terrible quality.

@jc I mainly listen to lossless EAC/FLAC rips via a USB-DAC connected to a computer, but with Bluetooth headphones the quality is less important. Also, there's a ton of stuff only available on youtube and not other streaming services.

I only use youtube to watch music videos, particularly new releases and exploring bands I aren't that familiar with before deciding whether to buy or not. With a large CD collection, my main listening is on my stereo system.

Youtube is great for following threads of music and discovering stuff but I wouldn't use it for straight out listening. I use Apple Music as I am in their ecosystem and can usually find something I'm looking for.
Most of the time it is through bluetooth (headphones) or wifi (Sonos)so file quality isn't a big driver but they have at least improved the streaming using lossless.
