Yeah, can't wait to see Akira in a tight test. If he fronts doing the tight stuff for 70mins against SA/ENG, I'm his forever.

@voodoo I can see why they keep him wide, as his pace/acceleration is a big asset out there on attack and defence, but would like to see him used to smash blokes for 60 minutes in close.

I liked the improved discipline the most, along with A Ioane's effort. Ref was fine overall IMO.

Jordie Barrett will be an automatic citing and red cards citings are rarely dismissed. So next test, Dmac probably starting at fullback (covering 10) and Reece back on the right wing and Jordan on the bench, covering wing and fullback? Ennor the extra man on the bench, covering midfield and wing?

Savea probably to be replaced by Jacobson; keeping Blackadder on the bench, although he has been very good.

Taylor is the most difficult to replace; it all depends on Coles' and Aumua's injury status.

And man Reiko looks good on the wing. So much better.

He is so much better than the alternatives at 11, but he was excellent at centre last week too. His long passing game is better than ALB's.

It is the accuracy on defense and the ability to make the right decisions in the limited time and space that ALB brings at centre. Reiko is the absolute dogs bollocks on the left wing with the extra space and his speed.

Coles is in NZ, not available. I think we will be last Man standing by the time we get to the boks

I think he did ok and he was bloody well dressed compared to Plank Justin Harrison.

Saying ‘bro’ lots probably isn’t that professional but the I’m old and stuck in my ways.

Koroibete was on a fairly slender technicality.

Barrett might be looking at a couple of weeks but his post-contact conduct will stand him in good stead.

Very rare incident. Unless you're Billy Slater.

You've got to choose from within the team. No one will be coming into the squad outside of the 4 left at home. Or more correctly we only have a certain number of MIQ places so we can only call another 4 players in, as that's the number of spaces we have

@stargazer Was thinking if players need to be (or can be) brought into the squad.

Next hooker and fullback on the list, but Savea is harder as he covers 7, 8, and 6. Tom Robinson is the next best loose forward, but 6 is covered. Who are the next best at 7 and 8?

                                        Blackadder covers 6, 7 and 8.

Be interesting to see with Akira Ioane is moved into guarding the fringes against the Boks.

Wasn’t he mainly out wide when Ardie went off and he had moved to no.8? Made sense given Blackadder is better closer in and Akira has the ball playing in him.
