@bayimports I saw that pop up yesterday, could be good.
Anyone looked at The Empire?
Has potential, Historical Fiction based on the books Empire of the Moghul by Alex Rutherford, that I have read a couple of (being slated on IMDB, although possibly more due to the historical aspect, although comments re poor SFX too)

Excellent start to Vigil
We had two episodes back to back here because it was a Bank Holiday weekend

I still find 'Bank Holiday' such an odd term. Like it's only the banks on holiday? Or you all get a holiday because the bank says so?

Initially it was just banks etc that closed back in the 1800s, the name stuck even when it started to apply more widely

@nevorian should still be on Amazon Prime, where I watched it last year
Confirmed by Justwatch. Prime is the place to stream, other avenues have the series to purchase.
@Nevorian justwatch.com is a useful site/app to track down shows. You can change your country as well to see if it is streaming elsewhere and use VPN

Another watching Vigil, I enjoy it, but I struggle to let go of the plausibility at times with many of these cop shows. But it is a well made, well acted mystery with twists and turns, very similar to line of duty. Have to say it was funny seeing Podrick from GOT playing the bad guy.

we started "ony murders in the building" on disney+ with Martin Short, Steve Martin and Selena Gomez, its fun, generally getting pretty good reviews, not exactly high action but i want to know what happens

I've been watching this, and enjoying it too - a gentle murder mystery. I hear that Spielberg has optioned Richard Osman's Thursday Murder Club book, so hoping that gets a TV series, rather than a movie treatment.
Someone needs to now make Kinky Friedman's series of light comedy detective novels into a tv series.

Kinky Friedman's
I read one of those books (had 3 stories in it) during lockdown last year!
I think would probably do better on the screen, I liked the storylines but the writing style wasnt to my liking.
