Fourth game in the second set was huge for Raducanu

          What a fairy-tale!

Came from nowhere. Qualifier for Wimbledon, qualifier for the US Open. Wins the latter without dropping a set.

          Insane stuff. :clapping_hands: :clapping_hands: :clapping_hands:

An enjoyable match that. There were nerves in the 2nd set but both players played without fear and went for their shots.

I doubt Raducanu's record will ever be broken.

Yeah. Class act - really grounded and with no airs or aggressive stuff. Love the way she acknowledged Tim Henman first of all after she won.

Mrs Meldrew read she flew her childhood tennis coach from her club in Bromley to be at the Final. Lovely thing to do.

This final was played on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Neither of the finalists were born then.

These two, along with Coco look to be the future of women's tennis.

Grace and style as well as power.

I liked the way the presentation was done with BJK, but the money bit was crass - Wimbledon is much classier in that respect.
