Quite a surprising result really.
Pretty happy that my re-entry into sports-betting was "the cricketers are going to beat the rugby players... in a bullshit game of cricket"
There’s obviously a bit of behind the scenes talk about making the game close and a bit of a spectacle.....because there’s no way in hell a team of Rugby players would get within spitting distance of the cricketers if they were trying their best.
Did you see Craig McMillian and the puku’s on some of these “cricketers”. They aren’t going to be steaming in anymore.
McMillan never steamed in even at his best.
Many great cricketers are/were fat. Do you not remember the Jesse Ryder chat on here ?
Oram didn’t look like he could bowl more than 115. Mills looked okayish.
Some of the rugby guys aren’t mugs either. I doubt there is any sort of stitch up going on.
I dunno. The way Fulton all of a sudden smacked all those sixes after being pretty pedestrian initially seemed a bit suss. I also refuse to believe a guy as good as Fleming would get three shit scores in a row against a bunch of rugby players. He hasn’t been retired THAT long.

Fleming is 47, retired early 2008 (13 years is a long time), only ever played 5 T20s so probably not his thing anyway.
I wouldn't expect too much from him.Some of those rugby players are quite good. Interesting that none of Jordie's coaches know WTF to do with him. He isn't a 14 in rugby and he really should be higher than 7 in cricket well these matches anyway).

I’m probably massively overthinking it. I do remember Shane Thomson getting Sachin Tendulkar out many years ago.

Letting 'how to dad' bowl an over for the Cricket side certainly helped out the Rugby lads.

I didn't watch this game but they obviously tried to include as many rugby players with cricket pedigree (e.g., Spice, Boshier, Dagg, JB, Jordan).
