    Just finished watching the match.

Did anyone else watching in Oz through Stan have no sound? Not that I don’t mind it.

Ta$man looked lazy for large parts of the match in both defence and attack. Only woke up with 15 minutes to go when they were up a man!

Some lovely attack by the Mooloo.

Simply no urgency until it was too late. Maybe the accountant sent the water boy out with bonus promises?

You are lucky you had no sound. You were spared listened to TJs contortions. If Lester F got near the ball it sounded like Goldie was squeezing TJs balls. Then when a Waikato player did something good he squealed louder because he realised how he was sounding like a Ta$man fanboy.
Give the guy some valium and keep him away from Ta$man/Crusader/Canterbury games (and AB games involving players from)

@crucial Luckily the option to not have the commentary was working on MySky. Probably not an option if streaming.

Thought several Waikato forwards put their hands up for Super rugby consideration. Hopefully Chiefs have retained Mcwhannell and Blues now secure Dyer. Would like to see Mitch Jacobson at Chiefs to back up Cane. Wrampling 'arrived' at npc level last night too and has a super future. Ratima great too after a slow start. Could be third 9. Hunt and Faingaanuku looked the best players on the field to me. Ta$man forwards were off their game though and that was the difference for me.

He certainly deserves an opportunity. I think they will sign Florence.

@bovidae Is Neil Barnes still recruiting the forwards?

Barnes isn't involved with the Chiefs anymore as he is the Taranaki coach. I assume Gatland and McMillan will be in charge of recruitment.

I agree with the usual comments about how unprofessional TJ and Hames are. I thought Wilson was good though.

Maybe Sky made a mistake trying to make Wilson a presenter? He does the expert comments role well.

@duluth As I said I didn't listen to the commentary, but Wilson has improved markedly as a presenter/interviewer. No reason he can't do both.

TJ is the opposite. He should stick to presenting even with his background as a radio commentator.

@duluth I really enjoy Goldie as person and the comments guy, he gives Te Reo a proper go as well, I think he's really good on the Breakdown.

Hames and TJ are okay when they aren't commentating Ta$man games, and Crusaders games in TJ's case.

As a person and comments guy, agree. On the breakdown or interviewing someone he rolls 3 or 4 questions together into one long-winded question and we maybe get an answer to one of them.

@yeetyaah I don't think you can describe Hames as a commentator of Ta$man games, more a cheerleader
