I see they resisted the urge to cast a woman as Han Solo. That's a positive. I'll pass judgment after seeing him on screen. Alot of actors look like Bieber fans in civilian clothes but scrub up on screen. Good example is Generation Kill.

Let's give him a chance before judging, Harrison Ford was a nobody when he took the role of Han Solo too.

Ewen McGregor did an awesome job of Obi Wan, this bloke might take an iconic role and do the same. No matter how well he does there'll be fanboys getting themselves into a sweaty bad smelling lather about how he's not as good as Ford so like anyone famous he's on a bit of a hiding to nothing but being set for life will alleviate all the bad words that nerds say about him online I'm sure.

That dude was good in Hail Caesar. Although I don't know why they didn't get the guy who played the young Harrison Ford in that weird chick flick the Age of Adaline.

For sure. But he was already known pre SW as a star in the biggest movie of its time. AG was huge.

Nobody is arguing otherwise. The comment was that he was a nobody before SW which he clearly wasn't.

Anne Heche was pretty tidy back then and was partial to dining on clam. plus it had Tem and Cliff in it so I'll give him a pass on that one.

The Fugitive was great as well.

Ok, now this will cause some posters to get a little cranky, but fark it. I watched TFA again last night. Obviously I wasn't thrilled the first time but wanted to see if I wasn't overly harsh. I could also rewatch stuff and focus more.

I'm sorry but I still think it's pretty crap. Yes it looks amazing and some of the scenes are the best ever seen in SW. But overall the film is a big disappointment.

It's just a reboot of 4 with a bigger weapon and a butchering of that storyline. So Luke pisses off and leaves half a map of his whereabouts with some old dude and the other with R2? Why? Does he want to lead the gallaxy on some kind of scavenger hunt? It doesn't make any farking sense. About as much sense as his blue lightsaber turning up. The one that was last seen attached to his severed hand falling into an abyss on Bespin.

It's also weird that the NO are desperate to get the map but are desperately trying to evaporate the people holding it and thus destroy any chance of ever getting it.

Nuff said about Hipster Renn and his now dead dad and apparently non-force using mum who seemed remarkably relaxed about the capital of the Republic and billions of people having been completely incinerated.

Sorry, bit this film is up there with Transformers. And I don't mean that as a compliment.

I would consider that a hate crime.

Finn dumped her in the waste disposal unit so she should be dead. But no doubt she made a miraculous escape and will be allowed to live even though her cowardice resulted in a crushing NO defeat.
