Gave Ash vs Evil Dead a go but other half was too horrified and we had to turn it off. My pleas of "but it has really funny bits too...." fell on deaf ears. I think the crux was the possessed chicks head spinning and her beating up the cops then losing her head when one of them shot her with a shotgun. Will clearly have to watch that one on my own.

Proctor will likely set the Nazis up to get their dues from the Cartel directly although Bunker deserves a satisfying end to his arc as well.

GoT. Bit boring this one but the Ned Flashback was pretty cool. The Umber-Rickon thing was a further kick in the balls for those who have read the books.

What I can't understand is that when you have a series in which every minute of time is precious, you waste about 5 minutes on some bullshit conversation between Tyrion, Mr Eunuch and his chick. Seriously, wtf?

But yeah agree, with the limited time why are they wasting scenes on seemingly pointless stories, as you mention and the Samwell one.

Agreed RS. That was one very drawn out episode and a lot of time wasted on pure filler. That's happened a lot in the 3 episodes thus far.

Obviously the production team don't want to get too far ahead of the books in this season and are adjusting the pace to compensate.

I too was very disappointed with Rickon's re-introduction as he hasn't been seen in the books for quite some time after seperating from Bran, Hodor, Meera and Jojen heading off with Osha into parts unknown.

Also sad was that another of the direwolves is dead leaving only two of the original litter remaining - Summer (Bran) and Ghost (John Snow) although it is likely that Nymeria (Arya) is still alive and running wild.

We can only hope that G.R.R.M. can pull his finger out and finish the next book ASAP but from all reports that isn't likely to happen until 2017. He has however publicly announced that the storylines from the series and the books are likely to diverge to an even greater extent.

That now looks a possibility now that a resurrected John Snow has shed the coat of Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and is now going to head south to start getting some payback on what has happened to the Stark's. No doubt Ghost will go with him and they could meet up with Nymeria during their travel from the Wall to Winterfell leading an army of Wildlings.

One thing that may prevent that is Nymeria has gone completely feral and now leads a very large pack (100's) of normal wolves roaming various swaths of Westeros according to the Song of Ice and Fire Wiki.

And Summer is likely to stay north of the wall with Bran as he continues his "eductation" via flashbacks

Yeah, I'm a Song of Ice and Fire nerd.
