You misunderstood. I meant the boks didn't just kick this week, they didn't milk stoppages. I wasn't talking about us. They played positively and deserved the win

Two matches in a row our tight five go missing. Our scrum is weak. Our lineout falls apart. Players too lazy to get onside. Soft defence. Absolutely no misdirection in attack. A complete inability to make good decisions.

We weathered the storm again....won the scrum, took the ball upfield and with 30 seconds to go, a basic error gave the Boks the game.
That's not all Foster's fault, that's the players on the park, particularly the senior players.

Every arrogant fluffybunny who talked about how the Boks couldn’t hang with us should have a good look in the fucking mirror. They play differently and they are fucking dangerous.
Terrible captaincy.
Bad performance by a lot of players in black.
Great performance by a lot of players in green.

Terrible captaincy.
Bad performance by a lot of players in black.

If we were so bad and they were so good you'd think they would have won by more then a penalty in overtime.
That was a great test, so much better than last week. Both teams made mistakes but also had moments of pure brilliance, and the end of the match was absolutely hectic. Love test matches like that.

Just had to control the breakdown. But we failed to do that for most of the game

I blame TJP and Mo'unga at the end. Pick and goes are always 50/50.

Can't win all the games, ABs 2010-2015 vintage was something special. It's still a very good team, but losing so many of the World XV was sure to have an impact. Still very likely the best team in the world, Boks lost three on the trot and ABs just the one. But Boks played better on the night.

Enjoyed the game, not the result but SA came to play and play they did! SA worthy winners.

Our lineout is an embarrassment.
Our forwards are allergic to attacking breakdown.
We need a change of players, and a change of coach for the forwards. This is embarrassing at this point. And it's not like this is a new problem, our forwards have been lazy around the breakdown since at least 2018. I don't know why, but any time we get counterrucked, you can be sure there'll be a couple of forwards looking right at it two metres away.
We seem to deliberately commit the bare minimum number of players to attacking rucks; it may give us an extra pod to pass to but it costs us so much possession and penalties, it's such dumb rugby. But we persist with it anyway. I'm so sick of this shit.
And to be fair, this isn't even a criticism of Foster, this predates his promotion, this is just how we play and it's showing no sign of changing.

@yeetyaah Dead right. It clogs up every ABs thread haha. We got smacked around up front and the Boks actually use the up and under very well and attack off the back off it. If they had a more rounded fullback, they'd have finished us off earlier imo and probably taken another opportunity in the 1st half.
