The Daniel Craig bond movies have unwatchable boredom-fests except for the first one. The Pierce Brosnan ones were garbage too.
Time to kill it.
im a huge fan, all the movies on DVD, the original books in a cool set they release in the 2000's....but you're kind of right, there are better action movies (both realistic and fantastical), its why i liked the first Kingman film, old school madness and im quite looking forward to the next one, second went of the already weird rails

@tim i think if theyre going to keep it going they need to do something different, i think people expect if there are a series of movies that they connect and i know daniel craigs ones "do"....but theyre still stand alone films to a large extent
i was thinking they could start doing trilogies with proper cliff hangers to build some suspense, you could then look to change the actor easier as "their" story will "end"

@kiwiwomble Biggest problem for me is that Craig is a dull, charmless, Jason Bourne knock-off. Needs to return to what made the character interesting in the first place.

Roger Moores Bonds are better overall than Connerys…..but Connery is still the man.

I think Elba should have got the gig before now but is too old to start now.
Craig's Bond is Bond with a conscience. You could never portray him as Connery did and get away with it. Nor should you as part of populist fiction. As for accurately reflecting Flemings books. Yee Gods. What a strange man - serial loser and fantasist.
What's Bond's target audience? Middle aged white guys dragging their sons along to watch it?
