Interesting article and certainly some stuff that would have been far better than we got

The Full Original Star Wars 9 Script Has Supposedly Leaked. And It Gives Fans the Ending They Deserved.

Colin Trevorrow's 'Duel of Fates' is dark. It's metal. And unlike 'Rise of Skywalker,' it makes some really bold choices.

The proposed scene of Chewie commandeering an X-Wing and kicking ass would have been awesome.

He wouldn’t fit in the cockpit

@mn5 don’t spoil it! Maybe it’s an upgrade to the T-65. Gotta be species inclusive these days. Humanoids only is not sustainable.

True. Chewie was very tall but not that bulky.

Yeah righto. Hired by the rebels cos HR would have a fit if there wasn’t one token fat fluffybunny to fill a quota and was the first one to die cos he’d fucked the engines on the X wing the moment he sat down…..seriously, every other X wing could avoid the surface cannons except for him.

Which brings me to my next rant…..How come in Rogue One they sent out literally hundreds of Tie Fighters for a dogfight but in a New Hope there was pretty much only three ? Couldn’t George Lucas have come back and rejigged the scene ? If Scarif had a couple of hundred Ties then the Death Star would have had thousands.

'Book of Boba Fett' leak finally solves a 'Return of the Jedi' mystery

This species has only appeared twice in Star Wars, but its Legends history could signal a return in 'Book of Boba Fett' on Disney Plus.

Boba Fett taming a Rancor ? Holy shit, how cool would that be ???

I think that may be one of the plotholes filled in though later books/comics. I have a vague recollection of reading an explanation. Something to do with not having re-allocated the squadrons for destroyers to Death Star yet. DS was very new and still being commissioned when the actions of the rebels accelerated it's use.

I hear that but I’m sure they would have had a few thousand floating around in case of emergencies. Not like there wasn’t room for them !

A bit of a ironic meme this one, I remember reading in the newspaper around 97-98 ( remember those relics of the past ? ) that Ewen McGregor had been cast as Obi Wan. My first thought was no fucken way will that junkie do justice to an iconic character. I was triggered before that term was even a term….

    How wrong I was.

If anything due to the volume of work he surpassed the great Sir Alec Guinness.

    Hats off you Scottish legend.

Um, you do know the great body of work that Sir Alec did, right?
The Sir might be a bit of a clue.
Or the 2.25% he got from the profits of a certain Star Wars movie, I doubt Sir Ewen got that (but I may be wrong)...
If it helps, Sir Alec was born in England but he thought his father might be Scottish.

When I say ‘volume of work’ I was referring to what he did in the Star Wars movies.

Fully aware that SAG was a legendary actor who made a lot of movies that I’ll never bother seeing.

On that though it’s a bit like Peter Cushing, amazing as Moff Tarkin ( most underrated villain in SW history ) but it’s not like I specifically go out to watch any of his other work.
