There's more in here. He had 40 and 10 - he looks like Iverson to me. It's worth watching the Grizzlies just to see him go:

Decent comparison, but I think he could be better than AI. The extra 3 inches height and 5kgs alone helps

    fucking wait on

MVP; Four scoring titles; Rookie of the Year

led a team of scrubs to the NBA finals

Morant has ticked off one of those things. Lets not get ahead of ourselves

Solid double-double from Rotorua's finest as well, started and played 34 mins. 6 assists!

He looks like a good fit with Ja, I like some of the easy ones he got from Ja splitting them open.

He always seemed to have the skills, he has soft hands good coordination and reasonable speed. He was underutilised in OKC

    Sacrilege bro. 😎

AI had that killer instinct and supreme confidence from his days in high school, through to the Hoyas and then as a rookie.

Ja has amazing talent and a natural athleticism that has him above the rim (and below in terms of jelly). It will be interesting to see if he goes the way of a Westbrook in terms of drive and competitiveness or the way of John Wall who had all the athletic attributes but has just petered out somewhat.

Honestly, I think he will be better than all those guys. The will to win of Russ and AI, but a better shooting touch and temperament than both. I think he's the real deal. Wall could have been special but injuries just killed him

Edit to clarify, I think Wall was never going to be a #1 guy (certainly not scorer) in this league. He could have been a Stockton/Kidd mash-up if he found himself next to an elite guy. But his ceiling is always a 2nd banana for me

jesus, the regular season really is just a chore to get through for the playoff sides

It's the 4th fucking game of the season and LBJ is having a rest

Yes, it's only the Spurs, but man...

goddam it San Antonio. Up 12 at 3/4 i said to myself "just score 18 in the 4th and we are home"

They scored 17 and lost in OT.

I think this is exactly why they got Westbrook, to allow Lebron to take time off, both within games and for whole games. It makes much more sense than having them on the court together

Russ has been trying hard to facilitate so far, he looks like he is playing within himself. But he has the game to take over on nights when the others are down. And this Lakers team is better than the team he played with in WSH and OKC (post-HD era)

I've said this before, but the TeWaio(TM) NBA season would be 43 games:

    • 30 teams, so player every other team once = 29 games.

    • Play every team in your conference twice, so an additional 14 games = 43 games.

    • Within your conference you play each team home and away.

    • The other conference, you alternate each season between home or away.

Makes a marquee game like KD playing at Staples / LeBron at the Barclays Center a real calendar event, once every other year.

Also require independent doctors (paid for by the league) to certify any injuries that result in a guy not playing, and fine players/teams for "load mgmt".

@voodoo love the Warriors. Steph is still the best ticket in town but I like Poole and Lee, and when Klay, Kaminga and Whitehead come back they will have a very decent squad.

Is he playing within himself, or is is he getting older and slower? I've only seen very limited minutes this season, but it almost feels like he's accepting the fact that he won't always be able to drive to the bucket, so he's passing instead. I'm a little bit surprised at how nicely it's working though.

Just watched the condensed version and Russ had his best game. Efficient, low TO’s and aggressive offensively. Looked a bit more comfortable working worth AD too.

Russ works perfectly with AD. A big who can stretch the floor and give Russ space to attack the hoop. It's ideal really.

It's just LeBron and Russ that don't fit together.
