There was a lot of shit in the grunge era, but this was the most mawkish, and nakedly striving to be sensitive and deep - pure retarded adolescence. Vedder was very cringe, and this was a song he wrote before joining Pearl Jam.

It’s gonna be really awkward when someone posts something and someone else mentions how much they like it.
It took 2 minutes. This tune is an absolute anthem for me.
One of my best rugby memories (I was not a flash player) involves us singing this song in the bus on the way home from a win (Raglan I think).

worst 80 hair rock song
worst 90s "alternative"
-
@antipodean I remember the Bette Midler song being on the radio all the time and it did irritate after a while. Didn’t mind the Fine Young Cannibals and still have some of their stuff on my early years playlist

@mariner4life That Cranberries song is the worst of any genre in the 90s. Just fucking awful, and even worse for being a serious attempt at a statement song. shivers from cringe

I HATE that this kind of shit made some piston wristed gibbons rich.

See I quite like LMFAO for what it is. It is irreverent, juvenile, disposable party music. It isn't trying to be Stairway to Heaven or Bohemian Rhapsody
LMFAO are fucking great. Sexy and i Know it is a banger, and Party Rock Anthem is just fun.

I saw them open for Black Eyed Peas in Auckland a few years ago before they were big. I walked in and they were playing this one
That and "I'm in Miami biatch!" and I was hooked
