Great vid! I had the great pleasure of seeing him when he was over here backing the Chillies . Sadly they had to practically carry the old bugger on stage and he was propped up between 2 guys for the whole set.

He toured with the Chillies ?
Yeah that’s one I never ticked off the bucket list sadly. He woulda been exceptional.

Back in about 2004/5 from memory. A good 20% of his set was the announcer shouting out “let’s hear it for Mister Jaaaaaames Brown” over and over again. There was a third act of some Icelandic girl guitar group who were dogshit and got booed at every venue.

I can say the same about Prince in 2003. Difference being he was will remain the best live act I’ve EVER seen. Absolutely at the top of his game.
Actually those two had quite a bit in common, both perfectionists, both amazing entertainers, both massive talents ( Prince more so in my opinion ) and apparently both complete arseholes.
