@muddyriver Yep, he'd have to play the required number of legs of the World Series for Samoa 7s to be eligible for Samoa XV. Leali'ifano could do the same. But Visinia is 28 and Leali'ifano 34; would they be interested doing that and how do they combine that with playing for MP?

Just got told Southland Prop Chris Apoua has signed with Moana Pacifika ..was originally going to the Crusaders , but was only a wider training gig..very good pick for MP.

With that many in the squad they could come back into NPC pretty banged up and bruised given the number of games they will probably now have to play. Much easier for the Magpies when all they ever did was train at the Hurricanes!

@tim Todays announcement Moli and Havilli cover the Hooker and outside back. Presuming they carry 38 as per the NZ teams. The rumors suggest Manu Paea is 3rd half back and Chris Apoua the final Prop.
