    Segner looks like he's in trouble with a shoulder injury.

    @taniwharugby said in Hawke's Bay v Ta$man (Premiership Semi-final):

    Twice when they gone right HB offside not called

    Well they got a penalty when two Ta$man players trapped Sapsford while he was trying to roll away so swings and roundabouts.

    Congrats Ta$man, too good on the day.

    I'm going outside to punch an Australian.

    Woo hoo!!!

    Didn't really see that coming, but I didn't have as bad of a a feeling about this game as I did the shield Challenge.

    Hard luck Hawkes Bay.

    Was actually a banger of a game tbh. Good for a neutral, though I wanted Bay to win as Ta$man winning the comp again is boring.

    @yeetyaah dunno, nothing wrong with a team that creates a winning culture, even if they are a bunch of mercenaries 🤣

    What do they teach you at junior grades never go by yourself and what did Mikaele-Tu’u do exactly that.

    It was fucking awful as a HB fan, was a hard watch due to the dipshit high error rugby we were playing.

    At halftime I thought we'd done well to stay in the game.

    Bookended an awesome season with two crap performances against the Naki and the Baabaas.

    Congratulations to Ta$man , the better team won today , Hawkes Bay too many handling errors and their line out which is normally their meat and drink faltered ,also a few individuals well below their best
    Tell you what though you can’t be too disappointed if you are a magpies supporter still got the shield locked away and they have played some stunning rugby and for regional team a good number signed to Super contracts
    Finally full credit to Mark Ozich for his time at the Bay , has done an amazing job turning the union around , originally from my club up here in Auckland Waitemata
    Mark has done incredibly well.

    We didn't poach him, he's a squatter, you're welcome to take him back any time.

    @nepia Smithy's always welcome.

    We could have him, TJ and Kane Hames even-handedly commentating Mako matches - the outrage would be something to behold. 🙂

    Gutted. And salty as. That try from the forward pass has cost us a spot in the final. That, and that stupid pass from Visinia.

    Probably the (marginally) best team in this game is going through; the best team of the season has ...

    The Magpies have had an awesome season and I'm super proud of my team. For Ash Dixon and Mark Ozich, I'm really disappointed they couldn't top it off with a Final, but they've defended the Shield well and have played some awesome rugby. It looks like most players will be staying, so the future looks bright. Bring on 2022.

    Yeah - we just did enough - but, for a while it looked like we'd be punished for not being clinical enough when we really could have banged in some nails and Hawkes Bay started to look like they'd capitalise on their edge in the scrums.
