I guess my point is they shouldn't be. Don't Arsenal fans pay more for tickets than any other prem side? They should demand more for their money than the same season on repeat for more than a decade.

I've said before, the management while the stadium was paid for was fantastic, but there have been a couple of years now where it was time to take the team forward, and less than nothing was done. And the results were the same. The Board seem happy, so i guess Wenger is safe, but to me that means 16/17 will be the same season as the last 12.

But what happens if Wenger doesn't find any "value in the market" doesn't sign anyone, the same shit happens, and both Man U and Chelsea get their act together? Arsenal could be trying to sign a new manager without Champs League football as a lure.

you are in a mini-league with 3 other teams. In that mini-league, your trophy haul is very small.

Since your last premier league (12 years), there are those 2 FA cups. Well done on those by the way.

In that time:
Chelsea = 4 titles, 4 FA cups, 3 League cups, a Champions League and a Europa League

Man U = 5 titles, 2 league cups and a champs league

City = 2 titles, 1 FA cup, and 2 league cups.

And to show how far you have fallen, Liverpool have an FA cup, a League Cup, a champs league, and we have the final of the Europa coming up. And we've been a bit of a basket case over that time (ok the last 30 years)

Arsenal are a financially strong club with great revenue streams and a big name who seem to decided coming in the top 4 every year is a trophy in itself. Even this year, with just a little ambition in January, they could have had a real crack at the Premier League. Instead they did nothing, and came no where.

That is some tough reading for Arsenal fans.

The last sentence is really true. With Chelsea tumbling down internally, LVG really not working out at Man U, and City underperforming, this year should have seen Arsenal have a real crack. Nobody could have seen Leicester do what they did, but given the other results, there is no real reason that a well managed, ambitious arsenal shouldn't have been charging for it.

I'm not having a pop as such, even though that's generally what I do when it comes to football. I do feel for Arsenal, similar the way I felt for the Boks under Straueli, and a lesser extent PdV. The fans deserve better.

Reckon Newcastle will find returning to the top flight easier than Sunderland would have.

You've had problems in the midfield, and central defense for what feels like a decade, and they are never fixed. You also really need a striker, Giraud is not good enough to be the main man for a team of Arsenal's stature. Sanchez will burn out and leave if you don't give him help.

Opps, the "Old Trafford" bomb was a training device left there after an exercise. Terrible way to treat your fans, especially the two guys who flew especially from Sierra Leone and Mumbai to see their team in action. Even worse way to treat the Bournemouth fans, who travelled hundreds of pounds for nothing.

Manure should forfeit point from the match and face a hefty fine.

I'm hoping that in the long run Spurs will learn more from that defeat, than Arsenal do from their victory. They've already learnt for example that they're not that hot without Dembele and Alli. Reinforcements are needed,

As for Old Trafford. What a gigantic clusterfuck. A private security firm must be looking at paying out some hefty damages.

United have refunded all tickets and will give those ticket holders free entry to Tuesday's rearranged fixture. It will cost them around £3m.

Spurs did a brilliant impression of being non-Spursy all season - and then it all came in a rush right at the end. With 4 games to go, many "pundits" (pundits = the same people who have been spectacularly wrong with all predictions this season) were proclaiming that Spurs would pick up 12 and so Leicester would need at least 8 to win the title. We faded badly but did about 5 places better than I expected. If we buy well and strengthen the squad we should do well next year
