The limping dog has been put out of it's misery...

Oh well, looking on the bright side, it will be early to bed tonight at least.

What an abject display of batting this morning. The middle and lower order gets the chance to try and bat for as long as they want, and they don't even last 45 minutes.

We've made that list; the 20th biggest defeat by runs in test history (all nations): https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/records/283901.html in a match where only the third bowler in test history took all ten wickets in an innings for us...

That’s the end of one of the more bizarre tests I remember.

Does Ajaz get MOM ? he did get 14 wickets…..unfortunately his ten teammates were varying degrees of utter shite.

You can’t say India had an individual performance close to that, Ashwin took a few for fuck all though.

ha ha, that is such a black crap thing to do..and we were all hoping we were past that
....almost feel they need to apologise to Ajaz
    yuck

@donsteppa India's biggest victory by runs.

We didn't need that many more to get behind SA - similar looking game.

ABdV doing better than any of our guys.

@mn5 Two not outs for Ajaz, as well.

We obviously would have won if he'd been supported! 🙂

    Ashwin has 8/42

    Agarwal 150 & 62

You have to give it to Ajaz really, unless you're one of those people who believes it has to go to someone in the winning team. His is the performance that will be talked about 100 years from now.

Edit: In fact, Ajaz has 4 not outs in the series.

@bayimports Latham has captained in 4 tests and lost every toss.

Remarkably, Kane is on the right side of the ledger - 20 won 18 lost. I would have bet quite heavily against that!

Mayank Agarwal named Man of the Match.

I don't think Ajaz will worry too much about that.

@pepe Very interesting that he gets it considering Ajaz got 14 wickets in the match.

It must be in the fine print that you have to be on the winning side.

That must be the reason because they just named Ashwin, Player of the Series.

I though Rosco would have been a shoo in...

Bullshit decision. Getting ten in an innings is incredible, the fact only two blokes beforehand did it speaks volumes.

that's a throwback Black Caps result. Embarrassingly flogged with only our spinner showing some backbone...

Look winning in India has always been really fucking hard, and even more so now. But after that fucking pasting the opportunities not taken in the first test look even worse.

Clearly, we didn't have enough ND players in the team. 😉

    WTC = 6
    This test = 1
