He might be a great bloke who knows but yeah the constant articles on him get so tiresome.
Definitely not an all time great but handy enough, Root aside he would be their most accomplished batsman but that’s not saying much.

Truth is he looks pretty good next to some pretty shithouse teammates but he’s currently the 15th best batsman and the 37th best bowler in the world.
He has an impressive highlight and is therefore basically the Ardie Savea of international cricket
Yeah I guess they’re both sportsmen who’s aura exceeds what they actually accomplish and they get named in World XV/XIs when they don’t deserve to be there.
