I was driving all yesterday and only got radio coverage every now and again. What went wrong for the BCs/right for the bangles ?

This test has the potential to get really fucken niggly for the BCs, Bangladesh are more than capable ( from what they’ve shown so far ) of reaching and then surpassing what we managed which means we’re chasing the game from tomorrow if they get bowled out/declare. Pretty unfamiliar territory at home.

Some of their young fellas are a lot better than many ( me included ) believed. I thought this test would be a cakewalk to be quite honest.

At this particular point in time, I cynically think we could have left out one of Boult or Southee to have kept Ajaz in the side for this game... so far, he wouldn't have been more innocuous.

If Stead had much imagination, he would still be giving himself uppercuts for his paint by numbers selection of Somerville ahead of Wags in India. [/vent]

Ahh yes, the joys of cynicism... (and bowling around the wicket)

The joys of hindsight. I won't give him that benefit for the second Indian test decision. The writing was on the wall after we escaped game 1

Well whoever had the guts to force a result needs to get a wriggle on. The pace is glacial at the moment.

Boult with one and the visitors still trailing by over 100. Could get interesting now.

Ebadot Hossain Chowdhury must be the worst cricketer in test history ( @mariner4life take note ) with a bowling average of 81.54 and a batting average (which Chris Martin would laugh at ) of 0.50. He’s listed to bat at ten as well ! The Black Caps will be eying up that tail if they’re any indication of his ability.

10 tests. So getting to be a fair reflection.

Not many, ten tests. Surely that’s enough to prove he isn’t up to it though ?

Disappointing this from our bowlers,Just going through the motions with no intent.
Too many poor balls missing their length especially,

A bit of pressure applied then let it slip through wandering with their mental strength.

Wagner has tried his heart out and he’s been let down by the other bowlers application.

Bangladesh teaching us a lesson on fight and commitment

Still hopeful they can have a red hot hour here in the final session.

This has been an extremely disappointing game from the BCs, aside from the obvious 3 guys who got runs.

Bangles looking like they’ll have a substantial first innings lead here, we’ll have to play out of our skins to get a win from here - anything less is a massive failure.

If Southee bowls much slower in the evening session, he might find himself selected for England at the SCG.

We’re first. They’re ninth. The game is in our own backyard. This post is a massive understatement.

“Battling” to a draw would be as good as a loss.
