Ross Taylor is determined to bring his retirement forward with shots like that...

    Now with the running...

    Taylor keep your head

He can’t help himself. He’s been doing it his whole career 😀

I know but pick the length to play that leg side shot
Totally wrong length to hit the ball where he wanted to.

I was more inferring that it’s not unusual to see Rosco swing and miss on those sweep shots….

Agreed he loves a few air shots .

So effectively 4/2 with just over a day to play.

First Test loss to Bangladesh incoming. And if it goes that way it will be thoroughly and completely deserved by both teams.

Oh boy. We are now in trouble. Taylor needs to take advantage of his lives and score some runs.

I don't have much faith in the rest of the team.

On replay it wasn’t as full as I thought. Just beaten for pace and variation

This can only be put down to lack of preparation, one or possibly both - physical practice, or mental.

This is going to be one of the biggest upsets in the history of test cricket.

Not doing the the hard yards through the 4 days,
Bangladesh kept their intensity up we just went through the motions for too many sessions.

Whatever the result, I would drop Jamieson for Henry, and Southee for Patel for the second test.

Before the usual Southee suspects get all wound up; if you can be left out of a team after taking ten wickets, you certainly can be left out of a team after bowling over after over of military medium right arm mince and cheese. Ditto Jamieson.

Good call, Henry on Hagley Oval he has bowled well there on his home ground.
