@nepia said in Would-be hardmen thread: @tim said in Would-be hardmen thread: picking on halfbacks. I don't understand this bonus points system, surely this is a good thing? Wouldn't they lose points for it? Im with you, those mouthy failed jockeys deserve belting

@bayimports He was definitely a bully, but he could foot it with the best of them, and consistently delivered on the field. Late career fades don't count.

@bayimports said in Would-be hardmen thread: @tim I saw him as a spectacular athelete with grid iron like passes his repertoire, but not really as hardman unless sexual harrassment in fiji counts I think we need to define hardman for the purpose of this thread, but, in the early 90s he definitely brought a hard edge to the pack, plus you wouldn't want to get in a scrap with the three Brooke bros back in the day. Brendon Cannon (I think) must be in the frame for his wuss punch on Kev.

@nepia Yeah Larsen was a beat cop in Takapuna. I can't remember Kamo ever being involved in anything? Back in the mists of time Grant Batty was an angry little man. Would run halfway across the field to get involved in a bit of biff. Even though he would have need a step ladder in order to connect. Definitely compensating...
