GoldenEye
The good: The movie spawned a brilliant video game.
The bad: The movie gives you pink eye.
One Walter Mitty out of five N64 games.
@Nepia will be here soon. Goldeneye is a tier 1 Bond movie along with Martin Campbell's other effort (Casino Royale).
That says two things:
- How bad the other Bond movies are, and
- Martin redeemed himself with Casino Royale.

You’ll be thrilled to know the Bond movies are 60 years old this year and not showing any signs of slowing up although I hope they don’t get as woke as the SJWs want them to get.
What a series, long may it continue.

couple of movies watched
Nobody
Holy shit this was fun. Loved the premise. Loved the execution. It's like American Beauty turned in to John Wick. Just a fun, funny, violent action movie.Don't Look Up
Well, yeah, okay. Watched it on the plane. Perfect plane movie. This movie is kinda fun. It's funny in parts. The story is okay.
This movie is not subtle. Anyone thinking they are smart because they "got it" is dim. This movie is a very blatant parody of modern, well everything, but mainly America. You do not have to think about anything, even for a second. It's also so very very smug.
It's okay, but only watch if you have nothing else to do, or you are hungover. -
oh also i watched Contagion
I love how optimistic that movie was with regards to the population and how they would react.

Really colourful life by all accounts and one of those actors who is tougher than any of the roles he played given most are the other way round.
Definitely interested if he’s in TBOBF in a big role or not.

I like how in Heat they don’t even bother giving him another name, he’s just “Trejo”.
Bloody good movie that, in fact one of the best ever, must watch it again.

The Tender Bar
Autobio/growing-up film about Pulitzer prizewinner J.R. Moehringer that Mrs M wanted to watch. Not normally my thing, but surprisingly watchable and entertaining.
4 American Graffiti's out of 5 Rain Man's

Directed by George Clooney. I quite enjoyed it to but probably only 3.5 for me. Affleck was really good in it.

So either The Matrix fucking sucks, or movies just aren't being shown for as long.
Because I wanted to go this weekend, and it's run ends here in all 3 cinemas tomorrow. What's that? 3 and a half weeks?
Fucking ropeable

Count yourself lucky. I loved the first, still often watch 2 n 3. 4 is an embarrassment

Maybe a bit of both, anything short of like bond or marvel seems to got pretty quick

@mariner4life It's still on in Sydney in the next cycle - but that's of little help to you.
But it seems like they're playing everything that's been released lately. Dune and Bond are still on.
In all honesty, while I'm not as down on it as @Machpants I don't think you need to see it in the cinema, should be fine on a decent tv at home as the effects aren't outstanding.
