@act-crusader the 9ers have owned the Rams of late. Any run will inevitably run out. But not this weekend hopefully ๐Ÿ˜‰

The defence and the running game can carry them through to the SB. But to win they are going to need more from Jimmy G. Or the D are gonna have to take out Mahomes. His penchant for throwing INTs will cost them eventually. Why can't he toss the ball away instead of throwing off balance into a crowd?

If they do it I would like them to win it all. Stafford gets his redemption

              Stafford

              Von Miller

              Aaron Donald

              Their deliciously soft underbelly

              I'm on the Rams bandwagon.

Regardless of who wins, SF should try and grab Rodgers if he wants to leave (if GB don't keep a win now team around him he will want to go) and delay Lance's promotion to the top job for a bit longer

Rodgers is still under contract for one more year - meaning to go anywhere he would need to be traded - there is no way Packers trade him to the 49ers of all teams.

Sean Payton has stepped down as Saints head coach. I imagine he'll be back coaching in the league in a few years. Saints are in a tough spot with a bad salary cap situation and no answer at QB.

That makes 9 head coaching jobs available right now with not one having been filled yet - nearly one third of the league.

@kiwimurph a hell of a good coach. Saints just need to thank him and pray they find someone who's not a massive step down!

He was a great coach, but man, that 2017 draft class must be close to the greatest of all time. Lattimore, Ramzyck, Kamara, Williams and Hendrickson. Incredible. The flexibility having five plus starters on rookie deals really helped the Saints who were in cap hell then (and are in cap hell again now). Going to be an ugly few years as they rebuild unless they can pull something like that off again.

                                      Big Ben retires.

PITTSBURGH -- After 18 seasons as the starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement Thursday morning.

In a video posted to his Twitter account, Roethlisberger announced what became obvious over the final weeks of the 2021 season.

"The journey has been exhilarating, fueled by a spirit of competition," Roethlisberger said. "Yet the time has come to clean out my locker, hang up my cleats and continue to be all I can be to my wife and children. I retire from football a truly grateful man."

Great career. Probably stayed a season too long. Pittsburgh will be on the hunt for a FA QB if they can't draft high enough. Another potential Rodgers landing spot

Nathaniel Hackett (Packers Offensive Coordinator) is the new Denver Broncos head coach

Rodgers peaks very highly of him, which probably just means he lets Aaron do what ever he wants

The "Aaron Rodgers to Denver" comment mill be in overdrive now

I'm surprised about the the talks about him going there.
If Rodgers wants another ring, going to Denver will make it even more difficult. Go up against Mahomes x2, Herbert x2, and Carr x2 every year.
Next year they're playing the NFC West teams too.

Mind you, I thought Brady to the Bucs was crazy moving to the division with Matty Ice and Brees.
