That's not funny, that is accurate (I'm a Weaver fan, what a career she has had)

And she has had Mrs Tishell from Doc Martin as her real-life best friend for 40+ years.....

    Power of the Dog

Movie with cattle, horses, cowboys, pianos, beautiful photography and sparse acting. Needed more zombies.

It’s not supposed to be. It’s not like I share stuff on here for cheap laughs

True. It's not like you predict Scottish rugby is going to win something every season.

@victor-meldrew always fascinating how people can see the same thing so differently, as I say I got very similar vibes to when we first met craig, reasonably new agent, 00 status was important to them, quite happy to walk head first into any situation

Will concede it was a bit cringy when she gave him back the 007…they’d spent the whole dim showing he didn’t care anymore

I had more trouble with remi maleks bad guy….not really sure why he wanted to kill half the planet, started well with the throw back to the story she told in spectre…but then I kind of lost his motivation

Also, wasn’t the big bad guys base from skyfall on an abandoned island of the coast of Japan?

Gunkan Jima. Don't forget to get the t-shirt. And don't go during a cyclone.

@kiwiwomble After the abortion that was Jurassic World 2 I have zero interest in this movie. JW1 was awesome though.

@nepia i get that, was really disappointed with JW2...it even started ok with the volcano and the run to the beach etc...and then they set it all in a big house like a thriller or horror film, i also judge films that are almost entirely set at night, just because dark background is cheaper and easier for their CGI, this looks a bit more like JW1 with some globe trotting thrown in, i assume their going around trying to round all the escaped ones before they start breeding etc?

@kiwiwomble I'll watch it, regardless of what I thought of the last one.

Just before the end I said there's no way they're stupid enough do blah, blah, blah, - then they did it and I swore at the big screen as I was leaving the cinema. 🙂

    Sing 2.

Same sort of thing as the first one, equally as brilliant. Look, if I didn't have kids I probably wouldn't go and watch, but I do. So I did. It's really well done, like most modern animated films. Had a few laugh out loud moments (once again, the auditions are hilarious) and even had a bit of emotion in parts. Really enjoyable, thoroughly recommend.

Also a reminder of just how excellent many U2 songs are. Shame that Bono has had to go all preachy.

5 perfectly cast Matthew McConaughy's out of 5 Auditions.
