He should take a leaf out of Sam Canes book. Cane has quite obviously modeled his do on the great god of the seven jersey and it is paying off.
Squire needs a sensible Kaino/Read haircut. See how well Luatua fared with his mop? Not good eh?

Who knows where they see some players fitting in. I guess we didn't know Kahui could play wing at test level until the AB coaches threw him there! He certainly wasn't used there by Mooloo or Chiefs. 
Moala is yet to be a midfielder for the ABs and may not be an option they are looking for. If I recall they didn't see Ranger as a midfielder but a wing, despite him playing most of his footy at Super and NPC in the midfield.

Pinetree didn't even sport the great big homo handles that were popular at the time. In fact I doubt his haircut has changed one iota in his nearly 80 years on the planet.

My money is on Ratpoo. He is shameless. Marshall would only lurk here as long as it took to find criticism of himself.

Meg, great player but useless commentator and analyst. 
In seriousness though, I guess he could make it. It could be a case of last man standing given the available options are very limited. The NZ Super rugby wingers are a mix of incumbents, ineligible's, injuries, very green players and then a few 'okays'. Naholo has just come back and is playing well and Savea's form has been very up and down. Who else is there? 
Lowe's in the "okay" category for me. His game reminds me a lot of Guildford's and one of the Marshall boys. There's quickness and the odd line break and other okay stuff, but if you look at the specialist wingers the AB coaches have selected over the last 8 years they have all had something that really stands out. 
I certainly won't begrudge his selection if he does make it and gets an opportunity, I hope he goes well.

I guess that as wing options go, if either of Naholo or Savea get injured the choices are plain.
 
Bring back Dagg and move Ben from accounts back to the flank
Bring in McKenzie and move Ben from accounts back to the flank
Leave Ben where he is and bring in a newbie (Moala, Lowe, FABJM, Nanai, Li, Osbourne) probably in that order, although They had a semi for Osbourne a while back for some reason.
 
I don't see DMac as a viable wing option apart from if he is selected in the squad giving him a few minutes off the bench

With NMS and Reiko Ioane to come back into reckoning this is a short term problem.

NMS will come back in with his proven ability to play Fullback and Wing at a world class level. Such a shame he wasn't able to kick on from his stellar 2015 year.
 
The end of year outside backs pick themselves really unless someone else makes a huge statement between now and then.

You could consider Reiko Ioane more of a centre who can cover wing. He could be a bolter for the end of the year tour, however SBW will most likely come back in so there may be no room for him at this stage of his career.

I would say that in the early stages of any AB career that Reiko may have he will be on the wing. He has shown nothing at a high level that singles him out as a test quality centre.
As someone else mentioned, even Kahui was considered a non centre and he was well proven at Super level.

Dunno, I think he is fine when he has time to think things through as I enjoy reading his articles and when he is on LiveSport just talking about the games, when not in the heat of the moment of a game....which is odd cos I don't recall him getting almost everything wrong as a rugby player.
