Two piss poor shots by Latham & Young has put us under huge pressure... we know Conway & Nicholls have really good composure, hopefully they can build a big partnership.

I like Conway and Nicholls being positive.

Hopefully they can build a 100 partnership & keep going as long as possible.

I'm not saying Devon Conway is the third best NZ batsman in my lifetime, but only Crowe and Williamson have batted with less sense of imminent vulnerability as him.
He is being totally done over here but looks like he can get through it.
Fleming, McCullum and Taylor all at their peaks could be dominant but each obviously had their own glass jaws.

Reckon Conways need to cover off stump better & not keep fending outside off... needs to get in behind the ball & play straighter.

Yes Fleming did,exactly same problem.
Needs to adjust his front foot placement and it’s sorted. -
Test cricket can be so intriguing, it's about battles within battles... if Conway & Nicholls can fight their way through this tough period they can prosper later on.
