@voodoo The price or the presale?
Price - think I'll go with B Reserve given I need 4 of them (leaving the youngest at home)
Wife spends more than that on tickets to Hamilton, Mary Poppins, etc. So fuck it.
I'd go for standing if it wasn't for the 2 kids, they won't see anything
Standing sucks. I refuse to do it nowadays.

but when you dance as well as I do, it's a crime to sit the whole time...

I always check recent set lists on FB before committing to tickets.
I’m at the age where I CANNOT be fucked with a band playing all the stuff off their recent albums, play the old shit goddammit.
In that regard Prince, Billy Idol, AC/DC, Gunners and Deep Purple were brilliant.
I can safely say I’ll never bother seeing the Chillis again.

I understand where you are coming from here re Chili's. Have you heard their latest singles though. Black Summer is awesome, Poster Child may grow on me.
Frusciante return has potential to revive the band after the last 3 albums.

Frusciante is a wicked guitarist, songwriter and singer….this is one of my all time favourite songs by them and it was released relatively recently….( or so it seems, it’s fucken twenty years old haha )
But overall apart form the odd decent tune they are well past their used by date in terms of new stuff in my opinion. They have left an amazing legacy of brilliant stuff from earlier though.

I love that song. Probably in my top 5 Chili songs.
I like Californication & By The Way, which I know is like admitting you like Hitler around the Chili hipsters. But they remind me of a truly great time in my life.
Stadium Arcadium was tedious & I didn't bother with the last 2 albums.
Think this new stuff sounds promising though.

I hope you’re right but I doubt it.
It’d be in the top ten songs for me but shit you could just about get a top ten from “Blood Sugar” alone. Fuck me that was an amazing album. Their ABSOLUTE peak, then again the one right before and the one right after were fucken awesome too. What a Band they are.

@voodoo I've only been there once in 06. Thought the Adelaide Hills were nice. The Vineyards are a bit too spread out compared to somewhere like Hawkes Bay or Marlborough. You do get Tiger Snakes in the SA vineyards though - as in just outside the Jacobs Creek Visitors Centre
The CBD itself was OK. Very small. Could park right outside the Adelaide Oval and walk out into the middle and no one would stop you.
Adelaide 16 years ago was summed up for me by the walking tour guidesheet that you could pick up at the Information Centre #14 Patels Supermarket. Since 1998 you can purchase Asian foodstuffs and even rent Indian movies.
So an eight year old Asian grocery was considered by the city authorities one of the city's highlights
