I gave up on Power of The Dog within 20 minutes but Dune was one of the best things I've watched in a long time. Clearly in the Dogmeat canon space opera trumps virtue signalling every time.
Do hope Dune doesn't get too prissy when it comes to the eco-warriordom.
I was watching that with some left leaning family members who were lapping it up. There was a good film in there somewhere, just needed a heavy handed editor. They kept repeating the same scenes over and over.
Not as clever as it thought it was.

Clash of the Titans
Great fight scenes and supporting cast……which is great because Sam Worthington is one of the most shithouse actors I think I’ve ever seen on screen. What this short haired, Aussie as a shrimp on the barbie bloke is doing in a movie set in Ancient Greece is anyones guess.
Still, it’s good entertainment despite him

El Mariachi/Desperado
I had never seen the former movie that formed the first part of the Mexico Trilogy. A bit of fun for a movie with a $7000 budget. Desperado has always been a movie I have enjoyed watching but it has been years since I saw it last. Peak Salma and cool music by Los Lobos and others. Tarantino's cameo has also been annoying though.

Drama, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, pretty shit thriller, but both my wife and both have Ana on our "allowed list/hallpass". Haven't even finished but she gets her tits out and for that alone gets a 2, the rest of the movie is shit

i am disappointed for not getting an upvote for mentioning tits, but I acknowledge and accept the rest ha ha, I got distracted by Ana and didn't follow the poor version of fatal attraction..
