2 questions for you gamers:
- how long is an average session playing your (current) fav game?
- do you consume any media (websites, newsletters, videos etc) around gaming, esports or similar, and if so, what are your fav resources?
I'm not a big gamer at all. When I play a game, it'll be an hour or two max typically. Squeeze around family life.
Media - nope. See high profile posts on reddit, but that's about it.

2 to 3 hours, late in the evening.
Nope, just scan you tube videos.

Digital Foundry youtube channel for technical stuff. Particularly the Alex Battaglia videos.
Gaming media is generally still rubbish (corrupt and/or written by people who dislike their audience)

Gamers Nexus is the best pc hardware channel, by a large margin. If they rec something, you know it's good

I play regularly but only for switch off the brain reasons. I play either rugby/league game when I get home from work and while my dinner is cooking. Usually 40 mins. Then I play (at the moment) Day of Infamy (WW2 FPS) for about 30mins to an hour mid evening. I play careers on the rugby and league games so I can buy teams/create players etc.
I have a bunch of other games but I don't tend to play them, and I'm not a hardcore gamer who buys new games and the latest tech (I play Day of Infamy on Steam on my M1 Mac which isn't "supposed" to be supported and rugby/league on PS4).
When on holiday/travelling I play a computer version of the table top game Axis and Allies.
Don't really consume any media, although I like the Gamespot (the English guy from Royal Armouries) and IGN (Forgotten Weapons) vids where they get firearms experts to discuss their use in games.

Yeah he's good too. I subscribe but don't watch that often. I think that's because I only really care about hardware in the lead up to making a purchase

@Machpants this is me also. Rarely watch tv outside of sport or the odd series the wife is watching that pulls me in.
If you need a time sink check this bad boy out - the nostalgia is strong and it's a cool reinvention of gauntlet and similar games we thrashed back in the day.
I've been watching Asmongold going hard on it - I don't watch his WoW stuff but this arc has been epic

It's like $4 US on Steam - super pricey lol
-
playing "Lego Star Wars : the skywalker saga"...god they're just a lot of fun

@Kiwiwomble the Lego games are fantastic, I've played many hours with my boys on PS4. My favorite was Lego City, fun story line to play through then lots of fun just exploring the city and getting new vehicles etc.
