I'm just perplexed as to how my comments could be construed as an attempt to start an argument. It's nice to have a favourite player but that level of devotion is farking scary. -

<p>However worth bearing in mind that not many players sign on (commit) for longer than 4 years and in fact most seem to do 2 year deals - especially those closer to 30 years of age. SBW has done 2 years now and I don't expect the next deal (if there is one) will be longer than 2 years so this "long term commitment" idea is all a bit moot anyway</p>
