I have a friend who worked at Lloyds Bank who tells me of a very important prospectus which was being printed. It was thick, glossy, expensive and was checked for graphics, regulatory requirements, legal language, grammar and spelling by rafts of people before 5,000 copies were printed. I have seen a copy.
Everyone missed the LLloyds Bank spelling mistake on the front cover.

That sort of blatant error makes you wonder if it was deliberate, just to see how far this can go.

Genuine foul-up apparently. Everyone was so concerned about getting the wording (and font size) right to meet regulatory standards, no-one checked the front cover spelling.
