Still no excuse if it was a native German speaker. They knew enough that ordinal numbers in English don't have a period.

If only the EU had access to online translators given how few of them are multilingual.

I'm not sure that the big-wigs in Neckarsulm haven't thought about out-sourcing their foreign singwriting. It's at least a possibility.
