Forced screwed over by the official in the lead up to both tries ,
Makalio was so isolated on his first carry , at least 3 WF players over the ball ..
Smith retreated from offside position thru the turnover ruck and played the ball with his foot
And then a very suspect forward pass from Mikaele Tuโ€™u to Harmon ..

And now they score from it. Where's hydro when you need him?

Fuck off with your powerful Paea shit Nisbo! Gilbert just hit it up straight after him and made about 3x more metres.

The difference Gilbert made hitting the ball at pace! Everything else was static and easily defended

Yes, the law says a kick from open play. So I think the referee got that one right.

Both defensive lines being allowed to creep up offside as usual... No doubt it will only be called a couple of random head scratching times

๐Ÿ™„ I think you're in the wrong thread, the I hate the Highlanders thread is somewhere else. Besides which Smith played it backwards with his foot.

Yeah, it's inadvertent, but you still can't kick the ball. I'm not sure if Smith was actually offside either. I don't think it was clear cur what the call should have beem.

Anyway, it was a great run from Umaga-Jensen. Highlanders had no right to score there.

How does Paea even have a super contract, let alone be a regular starter?

Agree, take the line out. Outside of scrum, front row, carry on

bloody hell you can see how good Smith's pass is, getting width on runners near the line. Magnificent.

Force looked clearly over the ball there with the Highlanders not releasing. Unless the Force were off their feet, they should have won the penalty.

@hydro11 not to mention Gregory played the man without the ball ..no issues who the better team is here , but thatโ€™s about the 5th call thatโ€™s gone against WF

I wonder if we will still be saying the Aussie sides are competitive after this weekend. Even the Brumbies are looking good for a loss without Noah and Valetini.

Gunna be a long weekend I reckon.

FFS, commentators complaining that'not the Highlanders fault' the ball wasn't available. Um some dumb fluffybunny Highlander kicked it into the crowd, so yes totally their fault
