North Harbour Rugby is excited to announce the return of 3 home grown talents into the Unions 2022 Bunnings NPC Squad.

Ray Niuia, Mark Telea and Danny Drake are no strangers to the Harbour jerseys. These 3 came through the Harbour school, club and academy system and with the success in both NZ and overseas they are looking to put their best foot forward for the upcoming 2022 season.

just read that Canterbury have re-signed Oli Jager, future ab Fletcher Newell, Brodie McAlister & Tamaiti Williams.(Williams is only for this yr) Marty Bourke is tipped to be new head coach although it says Canterbury did approach Mark Hammett

Bunnings Warehouse NPC, FPC and Heartland Championship 2022 draws announced

Domestic rugby season preparations are in full swing with the 2022 season draws announced for the Bunnings Warehouse NPC, Farah Palmer Cup (FPC) presented by Bunnings Warehouse and the Bunnings Warehouse Heartland Championship.

I see that most rounds of the NPC have a Wednesday fixture, and it seems every team has one of those throughout the season.

Southland not happy with 6 Sunday games (3 home games on a Sunday)

Just looking over our draw, we have 5 Sunday games, 3 of them home ones too, one of which is Southland - we have no Friday night games at all, all daytime, even the Wednesday game is showing as 1605 k/o.

IIRC Taranaki announced their NPC squad really early last year too.

A few weeks ago Perofeta was quoted as saying he hadn't decided on his future beyond this year (stay in NZ or head overseas). If he makes the ABs then his decision has been made for him.
