Depends how you view the prequels I guess. In Nepia brain they’re just bad fan fiction.
the fleshing out the extents the emperor went to to gain power is one of the good things about the prequels
The prequels were full of amazing stuff. It wasn’t all Jar Jar, politics and sappy romance between Anakin and Padme.

Jeepers. Looks potentially pretty damn epic !
As I’ve mentioned a few times ( but will mention again ) having a main guy who doesn’t have a lightsaber, the force or a formidable suit of armour could make this show pretty gripping in a different way than lots of other Star Wars material.
Someone not taking out 10-20 Stormtroopers at a time could be a refreshing change.

@MN5 could be a cool way to show that in a galaxy of trillions there were probably only a few thousand force users...max, and at this time there may have only been 10's of them. the emperor may have been powerful with the force....but he ruled using good old fashioned strong arm tactics inforced my normal people
my only problem is we know how his story ends...stupid prequels...i have the same hope as with most of these star wars series, that its a limited run telling one story, how he became such a fanatic rebel

There were “force users” who were neither Jedi or Sith as far as I know.
Old mate from Rogue One being a prime example.
Yes, we do know how Andor ends up but if the story is compelling enough it might not be an issue.

Bro, you should at least have your own profiles ... it'd be like the wild west in there and there's a danger you'll go to watch a show and someone else has watched the next couple of episodes.

Yeah, watched them both, one huge question but generally enjoyed, sets could be a bit better, his cave doesn’t look anywhere near real…good story though
Loved the recap, firmly set this as continuing on the films, summed up anakins story I thought

They can’t have killed of the grand inquisitor, he’s the main baddie of S1 of rebels which is about 5 years after thisalso don’t know how I feel about obiwan and leia…her message from a new hope kind of implied they didn’t know each other

Gotta say I think on the whole it was really well done. Ewen played the part of a beaten down Obi Wan really well complete with being treated like a bitch by his work supervisor who wouldn’t have dared speak to him like that if he knew who he really was……Young Leia did a good job I thought ( very obvious when she was running on the rooftops that Obi Wan would have to save her with the force )…..
I was surprised that he used a gun though ? Even as far gone as he was I would have thought he’d find it far too uncivilised. The inquisitors should make good minor villains but it seems to be building to a confrontation with DV himself ? ( I could be wrong )
Does anyone reckon he knew he was too far out of practice ( ten years ) to take on the black woman in a duel ? I suspect that was the case……
Also that old woman took losing her hand better than any previous SW character ( and there’s been a few )
