Promised my sons I’d watch with them tomorrow, they can’t tonight cos of a family thing, I can’t even sneakily do so on the sly cos we all use the same Disney plus login haha.

Bro, you should at least have your own profiles ... it'd be like the wild west in there and there's a danger you'll go to watch a show and someone else has watched the next couple of episodes.

But, I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life. 😉

I've just watched both episodes, but I won't spoil it. A nice little cameo in there too.

Wasn't a good start, the "recap" was from the prequels. Luckily I only had a soft cushion nearby so I didn't damage my TV.

Good first episode, trying to decide whether to watch the second now or save it for the weekend.

Yeah, watched them both, one huge question but generally enjoyed, sets could be a bit better, his cave doesn’t look anywhere near real…good story though

Loved the recap, firmly set this as continuing on the films, summed up anakins story I thought

    ##spoiler
They can’t have killed of the grand inquisitor, he’s the main baddie of S1 of rebels which is about 5 years after this

also don’t know how I feel about obiwan and leia…her message from a new hope kind of implied they didn’t know each other

    So…..

    ##spoiler

Gotta say I think on the whole it was really well done. Ewen played the part of a beaten down Obi Wan really well complete with being treated like a bitch by his work supervisor who wouldn’t have dared speak to him like that if he knew who he really was……Young Leia did a good job I thought ( very obvious when she was running on the rooftops that Obi Wan would have to save her with the force )…..

I was surprised that he used a gun though ? Even as far gone as he was I would have thought he’d find it far too uncivilised. The inquisitors should make good minor villains but it seems to be building to a confrontation with DV himself ? ( I could be wrong )

Does anyone reckon he knew he was too far out of practice ( ten years ) to take on the black woman in a duel ? I suspect that was the case……

Also that old woman took losing her hand better than any previous SW character ( and there’s been a few )

    Roll on episode three !!!!!!!!

My tv is about a year old, so I could probably just adjust my brightness settings - I just assumed the final season GoT cinematographer was working on this.

I think it’s your TV mate, could see everything fine. That GoT episode they could have saved millions and just streamed audio.

Actually, I think they have been very clever in retro-fitting this. In ANH Leia's message starts with the same words Organa said to Obi-Wan when he asked him to help rescue her. Like it was a code used as identification.
Agree on the Grand Inquisitor. It would screw up existing canon big time if he was dead. Third Sister (Reva) doesn't re-appear in Rebels though.
Also this show is currently only a year after the Solo movie end so there is potential for a cameo along the way from any of Han, Chewie, Lando, Maul or Qi'ra

very good point, i can live with that

it would be one thing to be retconning the prequels....but i cant see feloni reconning his own series (rebels), grand inquisitor has to to survive

i didn;t hate the solo movie and was kind of keen to see a crimson dawn centric sequel

i'm still keen to see a shot for shot remake of obiwan v maul...wont happen but would be cool
