My two cents assuming we don’t get five quick wickets…….
After amazing starts KJ and Conway are coming down to earth a bit at this level.
We miss Rossco and BJ.
We badly need KW to find form. Fast.
Timmy and Trent might be heading the way of Jimmy and Stuart.

Why the hell was Wags not playing ahead of Patel ?

Day six at Southampton was even more important in hindsight. Looks like our next realistic chance will be at least a couple of WTC cycles away...

Bloody annoying that we're performing so poorly this year... we clearly have a very good test team, but the focus/concentration this year has been pathetic, need to bloody wake up & refocus big time going into the next test.

I’m still pinching myself a bit that we’re test champions.
But lets be honest, we’re no chance this time round. Without a couple of extreme lesser lights in Mitchell and Blundell we would have been even more fucked.
There was some very nice bowling too, top order need a long hard look at themselves after that effort though.

That was a great effort by us to win the WTC - a lot of it had to do with each individual doing their job bloody well, therefore we played consistently well in tests... unfortunately it's not the case at the moment, this is the bulk of the team that won the Test Championship though, so there's no reason we can't get back to how we were performing, looks to be more of a mindset thing than anything esle.
Our top 4 batsmen especially had a shocker, if you get a low score in your first innings at bat you're normally going to be on the back foot for the rest of the match.

That really stuffed us... peeves ya off when Mitchell & Blundell did a great rebuilding job to set up an excellent platform for the rest coming in.
