Good defense, Wales woud have dearly loved a try from that.

We have the best right wing in world rugby, he's wearing number 15 on his back [emoji1]

Our defence was better in that 60 second phase then the entire first half

<p>Tries aside, that was the worst half of rugby we've played since the Samoa game..</p>

Good first half from Wales. They are certainly up for it and some well-taken tries from both sides. <br><br>
I expect New Z to come back roaring after the break.

<p>I don't think we played <em>that</em> badly. It wasn't great and Wales definitely shaded the half. Wales just forced us into making errors and had a very accurate kicking game. We just need to put some more pressure on them in the second half. They have no idea how to deal with Naholo and their defence looks a bit shaky if we can force those one on one situations. Not to mention we have lots of fantastic talent on our bench.</p>

Shame we didn't score just at the end of the half. Some great attacking play by Wales, something we've not seen in bloody ages (begs the question why Mr Gatland)<br>
I'm sure you'll run away in the 2nd half but I'll just enjoy the moment 😉

<p>We're playing  better than we did first game last year (Samoa where Dan Carter's goal kicking saved us from a humiliating historic defeat) and the first game of the year before (England.)</p>

Well done to Wales in that first half. They played good direct footy on the flanks and exposed a bit of lack of awareness by our 3/4's. <br><br>
Our attack is a bit scratchy. What was the deal with Naholo at first receiver a few times in phase play? The forwards taking the ball in close looks good though. Cruden's vision very good and a couple of very good kicks to put pressure on Wales. However some of his and Aaron Smith's passing has been very poor.

Fuck that was shocking. Worst defensive display by an ab team since.....I can't remember the last time they were that shit. Both wings and locks should hang their heads in shame.

So conclusive proof we didn't need to worry about losing 800 odd caps and a handful of greats eh boys?

<p>That shot at half time would have to be the most I've seen Hansen address the team at half time in years - addressing the whole team rather passionately at length.</p>

<p>Lucky NZ score so many points that they don't need a reliable goalkicker...</p>
    <p> </p>
<p>Wales have been very impressive, but some of the NZ defence is woeful.</p>
    <p> </p>
<p>Cane is absolutely not McCaw - he is really being missed :(</p>

<p>You've got to say that Wales are exploiting the disorganization in the AB backs well  </p>
    <p> </p>
<p>When you think about D,are we seeing the loss of Nonu/Conrad and McCaw?  All of them absolutely solid one-on-one in D, but read the game well so awesome cover defenders and perhaps that's what is missing....the right man scrambling back to the right place to slow the ball down for the mili-second right amount of time.</p>
