Already a notable achievement in that the first try was managed to be converted, albeit with a hilarious wobbly misskick from right in front! I think I will give it a miss!And it got more exciting when the commentator's mobile phone rang and he cut the microphone off to answer the call!

Has Te Paea Cook-Savage been in the extended sevens squad before? I had assumed he was injured as he has only appeared in the Fraser Tech team in Waikato club rugby in recent weeks.

Sad to see Kitiona Va'i being stretchered off. I didn't see what happened. What kind of injury? Season over and, therefore, no Commonwealth Games and World Cup kind of injury?

Presumably Fijiana are just just running out the B team for half their games?
"FRU will field two women’s and a men’s team in the tournament which also consists of three teams from New Zealand"
Seems like an expensive exercise for 42 minutes of rugby. But, I s'pose that's what they've got to do...
