And, technically we won the bloody thing but it was handed to England due to an inexplicable "boundaries hit" rule which was in place for just that CWC and was immediately disacrded afterwards. Not to mention the umpires giving England an extra run when the ball deflected off Stokes bat.
Let it go bro. Let it go

The trauma of that event will be passed to my children, my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren and will live on for generations to come
@No-Quarter bro, I know a good therapist that has been helping a friend since Toutai Kefu’s try….

Timmy to hit out and hog the strike
-
Right on cue Timmy. That was a sweet 6 off Broad.

Excellent. Mitchell joins that list of away centurions with three in a row

Mitchell will probably be able to mount a strong case for player of the series and yet we might end up being swept
-
Timmy holding down an end and gets to lunch 33*. Where’s the support?
-
Boult comes out breathing fire. 2/14
-
Bang! There’s his third. Boult putting on a show.
Now Timmy gets his first.
4/21
-
Now Bairstow and Stokes putting on a show. They’ve put on 34 in a matter of minutes.
4/55 off 11.
-
Haha, Wags first ball and Stokes takes a couple of steps down the pitch and a big fresh air swing.
Ball 2 and he tries to drive a fullish one and caught at mid off.
5/55
-
Now Wags starting in his own show with 2 wickets in his first over.
6/55
-
Wags has it swinging with a scrambled seam.
Great first over, 2 wicket maiden.

Why did you stop ACTC? You were on a roll...
-
What a ridiculous scorecard. Could have really used a 4th bowler huh?

Glad I fell asleep at about 6/80…

Jesus. Stead really is a boob. Although to be fair Kyle was out and Henry is not a 4th seamer

and CDG is out as well - who's usually our end-stopper.
We'll lose this series because our captains and bowlers can't control the run rate. That's only partly on the bowlers and selections. Scoring 850 runs and losing a test is unacceptable.
-
For anyone that saw them, was there anything about Mitchell's three overs that would have meant a fourth over was a bad idea? I feel asleep at one wicket down, so missed much of the bowling, but in the scheme of things his economy rate doesn't look massively worse than anyone else...

didn't see the overs, but I can suggest his back was probably sore from carrying the dead weight of the NZ top batting order
