I haven't been able to find more info, but I saw a post on Facebook saying that the NZU20s beat Argentina U20 40 to 7 in Brisbane today (or yesterday, not sure).

I note that Cody Nordstrom has his player profile in the 2022 squad, so obviously a late addition. No Essendon Tuitupou listed. IIRC he missed the final Blues game due to injury.

@Machpants It's not up to NZR. It's an Oceania Rugby tournament, so they've made the deal with Spark. This was a response from one of the NZR accounts on FB to a comment similar to yours.

No excuse they need to get NZ televised rugby under one sub.

The Argentinians are the biggest unknowns in this tournament in terms of strength and skill level.

They're dominating the scrum. Australia have conceded a few penalties already close to their try line.

And now it is a penalty try to the Pumitas.

                        HT: Australia U20 14 - 14 Argentina U20

Have only watched with half an eye, but the teams are as equally matched as the score suggests. I expected Australia to dominate more, so it's a bit of a surprise to me.

Key takeaway from that first half: don't underestimate the young Argies.

                          Wow, didn't see that coming.

I hope our scrum will be good enough against the Argies. They dominated the Aussies in that area all game.
