Have watched the first half. Little mistakes. Basic passes eg tupou through the line then shit ball denying a try

Great contest. English efficiency v Australian enterprise. Best game I gave seen from Wright. Frost and Philip were immense too.
But Steward and Genge were even better!
Not sure why Paisami and Wilson get starts for Aus with Ikitau and Samu around.

Well fuck that sucks created about 8 try scoring chances and converted 2. About as classic a Wallabies performance as they come.

Living in Oz there is always a little jump for joy when the Wallabies lose the same weekend as the ABs.

The small consolations are huge right now 😉

Is Steward the best fullback in the world?

    Such a gun.

He's certainly the most quintessential "public school English Rugby player" in the world, judging from that interview I just saw.
I had a crass comment about the female interviewer and the discernible quim, but I'll refrain.

I have the match recorded and will now watch through to the interviews. Thank you.

Edit: Bugger. Must have different interviews here. Nothing discernible at all. @kruse Don’t waste my time again unless you can be absolutely certain.

@ACT-Crusader Something seriously wrong with you if you'd rather England win.

It’s probably like watching his mother-in-law driving over the cliff in his new car.

Nah, I know I’m in the minority here but I’m an England fan. They’ve been my second team to support since the late 80s.

Not just here, you're in a minority of one globally.

I know lots of people support England, but I assumed that they were literally nobody's second team

@Derpus whilst I do support England after the ABs, my mantra for international rugby is, I support two teams, the ABs and whoever is playing the Springboks.

Again, not a popular view around these parts…

    England fans have never:

    1. Punched me on a train after a game
    2. Ruined a dinner party over rugby
    3. Tried to start a fight with me after the ABs lost

    Cmon England.

I was going to post the same thing.

Conversely, White's passing and options didn't help his team.

0-0 draw is always my hoped for outcome. I'd rather you both lose.

But, I don't think Oz are too far off, they look in better shape than the ABs as a team (although I think we'll still win due to individuals). It was Smith's turnover try that was the difference.

@MajorRage doesn't sound like you've spent much time in England.

@Nepia Yeah there seems to be some development but the results still aren't quite there.

Nope. I’ve lived in Aus for 20 years, married an Aussie, kids all born here. I’d rather the Wallabies lose against everyone.

I grew up in the Eales, Larkham, Gregan era where if it wasn’t Eales kicking the Wallabies to a win in the last minute it was Kefu scoring at the death to deny the AB’s or Mortlock intercept in the 2003 RWC semi..I’m scarred and I’m bitter 😀

@TheMojoman yep some tough years being here in OZ as an ABs fan. But I’ll be cheering for the Cadbury Crew against both the Boks and Argies.
