It's Ta$man and perhaps their players loyalty does not stretch as far as playing mere preseason games for free.

@taniwharugby $18 for an Otago team that features TUJ, Gilbert, Nareki etc. is well worth a punt I reckon, at the same time underdog status does us just fine

@taniwharugby Taranaki and Hawke's Bay too low, Canterbury and Wellington too high on that list.

@Stargazer they always are, canterbury probably a bit low...while Northlands odds to win, should be higher, as we will never win, just the way it is, but, the squad on paper is considerably better than that

...have you supported Otago long?...we've had plenty of "strong" teams fail...i cant help look at the big names you list and think two of them have had decent injuries in the last year or so.....
I forgot...theres a new format this year? no prem and champ, one table but we dont play all the other teams?

I just have great optimism for this season , it's a big hill to climb this yr the 14 team comp but starting Saturday week we must begin our journey with great hope! -
We are in with a punchers chance; Us and about six other teams will be battling it out. Just as long as we don't play Cameron Millar at 10 we have a chance.
