Yep, I can see both Hastings Boys' and Napier Boys' miss out on a spot in the final, this year.
In better news, they're still ranking higher than Palmerstong North and Gisborne, meaning that Hastings and most likely also Napier will play against the Wellington schools for the Hurricanes Cup and a spot in the Top 4.

@Can-I-Play-too Think you will find the Scots College have given up trying to scholarship their way into the Top 4 and have been taking part in the Co-Ed schools version.

@Higgins How long has that been the case? In the last few Co-ED Top 4 tournaments, it was Feilding HS that represented the Hurricanes region. Scots College haven't been to a Top 4 (in whichever version) since 2015.

From this year, the Co-Ed Top 4 will no longer take place. It has been replaced by 3 regional Winter tournaments.

There have only been a few schools who have successfully switched between the boys and Co-Ed, St Kents being the obvious one.
